I AM PALESTINIAN is a Civil society grass-roots campaign for personal identification with the Palestinian people and in defense of human rights. It is based on a simple premise: Oppression against the Palestinian people is oppression against all mankind.
It will comprise three main parts:
- VIDEO: streams of many people from all around the world saying in different languages one after the other "I AM PALESTINIAN", edited by our staff, flooding the web through emails, blogs and other initiatives.
- EDUCATION: There will be an electronic booklet simplifying the history of the conflict and educating people about it, breaking with traditional versions and exposing injustices. All material will be fact-checked and academically based.
- BDS: promotion of BDS campaign (boycott, divestment and sanctions) is part of this campaign, as a non-violent path to resist the occupation of Palestinians by Israeli military forces, available to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
